I Dream Of Mocha Choc Chip Cupcakes

Thanks everyone who said such nice things about my little cake birdies. Burning my cakes made me super sad and you all cheered me up lots. I attempted another batch of mocha choc chip cupcakes last night as there was the butter cream I made for the burnt cakes chilling in a ziplock bag in the fridge. The best mocha buttercream ever! My housemate/

did you just cut a chunk/tip off teh ziplock bag? your frosting looks amazing and i'd love to make mine look like that.

Thanks. Ya did that. Try to squeeze all the air from the ziplock bag so it's like an airtight lump of icing. Also chilled buttercream is firmer and easier to pipe. Have fun n post your pics

Hehe. jessalle, I love kitti with big round eyes =^.^=
Also for brbsb. I improvised and did according to my personal taste. It's not too sweet n the mocha flavour is strong.

Cream together:
½ cup butter
½ cup margerine
½ - ¾ cup icing sugar
2Tbp instant coffee & chocolate dissolved in 2tbs hot water
