Hi guys, I just wanted to show off my hazelnut cupcakes with hazelnut-mocha mousse filling and ganache from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World. I'm not a vegan, but I think these are sooo yum! My best friend is the biggest coffee lover I know, so for her birthday I made some delicious mocha cupcakes!

Vanilla cakes with a chocolate-mocha filling; topped with mocha buttercream, chocolate shavings and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. They were definitely a hit! :)

Thanks everyone who said such nice things about my little cake birdies. Burning my cakes made me super sad and you all cheered me up lots. I attempted another batch of mocha choc chip cupcakes last night as there was the butter cream I made for the burnt cakes chilling in a ziplock bag in the fridge. The best mocha buttercream ever! Oh they were mocha choc chips cupcakes, but I was forgetful and burnt them. I salvaged the middle bits to make these birdies. The grass bit is dessicated coconut dyed green with lime cordial.
