Yes they do! Best cola I have ever tasted, and it is most excellent as a mixer for Ciclon (Bacardi rum w/ tequila and lime)

I agree with your dislike of HFCS... been trying to reduce my consumption of it...

When I stopped drinking things like pop I noticed that my all-over sugar tolerance started to drop....now, even when I drink juice I prefer it diluted *at least* 50% with water. I drink only real fruit juice as an alcohol mixer, too.

Have you tried Izzy sodas? They are SUPER GOOD.

the aftertaste is actually from brominated vegetable oil. i already had the pleasure of this revelation back in December of last year. welcome to the revelation. it doesn't make things any better!

i don't know how high fructose corn syrup affects your tastebuds. you might wanna do some research. i've not been concerned about that aspect of my food, but i guess anything manmade is suspect, right?

I remember your post at that time, didn't see the later comments until now about Mountain Dew. So it seems that by removing it from regular drinking, the bad stuff is more apparent to my taste buds. I thought it was related to the HFCS, thanks for sharing!

i forgot i neglected to mention that it was originally because a coworker and i were looking up the ingredients in "generic Mountain Dew" that i discovered the veggie oil. bleh. so yeah.. when you're not used to it anymore, the barf bags definately need to be on standby ;p

Yay for NO HFCS! I'm going that way, too. I'm shocked at how many things have HFCS. I've been trying to most of my shopping at Trader Joe's since they don't seem to carry anything that uses it.

It limits my poptart flavor choices, but I feel better in the long term.
