I've been looking for hours for some information and I finally got what I wanted! What I would like to go into is called Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education. Which is the politically correct way of saying it. They don't use "hearing impared" anymore. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and take my basics and then go wherever I need to after
