When do you consider a bath towel "dirty"? Do you use them more than once?

I don't have any bath towels that I don't use. I mean I guess I have some spares up in the attic, but when I decide my towels need to be clean, I wash them. Thassit.

In your opinion, is a bath towel that's been used for two weeks is dirty? And does that make someone who uses the same towel for two weeks dirty? Even if I someone hangs it up to dry after every use?

I figure, if you have to question whether or not a towel is dirty, its dirty. Its not a question of time or uses, but of towel character. And, yes, I do get that less than sparkling clean feeling using a well-aged towel. I'm not above using dirty towels (or eating food that has fallen on the floor of a bus station), but its something I save for when the stakes are high. I'd rather use a tiny towel (or a handful of cotton balls).

Why do you have towels in the attic?
