I'm really sorry it's bumming you out so much. I must admit, Cuddy/Lucas and not House/Cuddy sort of bummed me out a bit during this episode. I'm just hoping there's better to come though.
The lack of Huddy actually is not the main reason for my being bummed out. It's just that the general tone of the show has become so cynical, pessimistic, bleak, dark. Where has the comedy gone? It's just wrong, unbalanced. For instance. I'd rather have Lucas being a nice guy than this creepy behavior whereby he's snooping around in medical files and stuff-I can't believe Cuddy would condone this one bit if she knew-to find blackmail material. Why not have him be a nice guy, say, but too shallow maybe, not enough of a challenge to keep Cuddy "entertained"? There's too much black without hardly any white and not even much grey either.
