I know what you mean about them glossing over the stuff that got him there in the first place - I was kinda looking forward to some chat about Cuddy, Kutner or Amber. But I suppose they set up the idea that he just had to get himself into a strong enough position to deal with those realities (or lack of reality in some cases). He had to fix himself and learn to move on without fixating on what was broken.

He'll have to do that when it comes to everything back at PPTH.
