I love you and your reviews are constant entertainment "Do you think having Sam tied up keeps the fights from being short and simple? Sam's bigger than anyone in the cast ever and he could take out most of the villains without trying too hard." Ahahahaha yes the whole not letting Sam fight business is getting a bit old.

Bring on the workout gear!!!!!

Yes, the lack of apology! I keep reading from people who are mad at Sam because he's being "mean" to Dean and I'm all, I love him, but he won't acknowledge he did anything wrong and he won't apologize!

Yes! Whether or not I agree with you on any given episode, your erudite and *snarkissimo* review is a fandom joy in my week.

Yes, Garth is one pitiful-looking predator (even his fangs were scrawny), but I kept waiting for the light bulb to blink over Sam's head that, gee, I didn't really have to blow Madison's heart right out of her chest, did I...shades of Mrs. Bobby Singer.

"Be prepared" is a GOOD motto, innit?

Thank you! But if they had referenced back to Madison, most of the viewership wouldn't have known who he was talking about. Good point, though.

Even if a viewer hasn't seen that ep though, the writers could still nod to continuity if only for the purpose of enriching the show.

Isn't that kind of the problem, that Sam in particular thinks "I SHOULD have known absolutely everything there is to know at all times even if there was absolutely no way to have that information"? It's not like he just shrugged and clipped her, they went way into all the vaguely-plausible hypotheses available to them at the time in order to help her. Sam drowning himself in self-flagellation over Madison would distort and distract from the main emotional thrust of the current season, and would be re-treading ground covered back in early S8. That's not continuity-fail, that's an astutely-chosen writing priority.

Thank you! Feel free to friend me. I tend to be a tad careful to friend back, because of the extremely personal nature of my other posts. But I'd be delighted if you friended me.

I love your review. When I wrote mine last night, I was still reeling from it (AND from that awesome promo for next week!) and trying to process it. You make a lot of really good points...

Dean clenching his jaw, raspy voice, and wanting to kill everything in sight: check

LOL that kept bugging me! Jensen is really overdoing the Batman thing now, I wonder if it's going to really affect his voice now the way doing Cas' voice has seemingly affected Misha's (he's mentioned this a couple of times).

It does bug me that Dean came so short of an apology at the end. It seemed like he was going to go there, but something wouldn't let him. Annoying. And yeah, if I were Sam I wouldn't trust him either.

LOL! Glad you also notice the Batman voice. Knock it off, Jensen!

I stole a line from your "Puppy Sam" series when I did a little rewrite. I gave you credit!
