Hilarious as always.

You know, the part where they hit the window is the good part.

Bahaha. And then they cut it out of the episode. Pure genius.

What is it with this damn show that keeps saying that getting with a good woman is the only way to change your life? Not moral reasons, not intellectual choices, but the love of a good woman.Seriously, wtf?? I'd like to believe it was some kind of commentary on the lack of same in Sam and Dean's lives--not because that would be a good theme, but just because it would have SOME meaning. But it's probably just lazy-ass writing ( ... )

Just a thought ... but is it possible that Dean hasn't apologized because he believes that saying he's sorry for what he did would, in essence, be saying he's sorry he saved Sam's life? We know he regrets how it turned out, but I don't honestly know that he's sorry he did it. I really doubt it's ever crossed his mind 'man, knowing what I know now, I really wish I had just let him die' which was his only other option. Just my own thoughts on the apology issue. :)

That wouldn't surprise me if that was what goes through his mind. Also, his epic self-loathing screens out what other people feel.

You didn't cover my favorite parts so I guess I will leave with I didn't like the episode like I did last weeks. I did enjoy Garth, he grows on you. Not at all happy that Sam and Dean are riding together again.

I'm not happy with it, either. What are your favorite parts?

The knife throw was slick and the whole switching coats to confuse the scent. Sam's kick bought them just enough time for Dean to get there. I like the monster hunting parts, the fights, the salt and burns all of it.

Well, Cain got with a good woman and tried to change his life but he ended up accepting who he was. The 4th generation werewolf mama got together with a bitten and tried to change her life but ended up regressing as well. hmmmm... I'm a little worried for Garth.

On the other hand, Dean's little speech to Garth (borrowed from Garth himself) about having to take happiness where you can get it and holding on or you'll regret it for the rest of your life? We've heard that little speech from Gadreel's friend aye? And I think that is why Dean went and asked Sam to be with him despite the crappy conditions and his belief that he was "poison."

I'm still waiting for Dean in peril so Sam can go through the same heartache Dean went through.

Sam lost Dean at the end of S3 when Dean got torn apart by hellhounds and sent to hell. Also I'm assuming Sam was heartbroken when Dean vanished at the end of S7.

You are right... and both times he was unable to save Dean... Maybe (taking his own words) he can do something right for a change??

I have no idea what you mean.

It is nice to see Sam not letting Dean off the hook. I was frankly dreading a quick gloss-over talk-then-hug back-to-normal thing, and it's nice to see that not happening. I love Dean and he's better than all this but he doesn't deserve any forgiveness--not at this point. I was yelling "It's called 'I'M SORRY', STUPID!" at the TV last night.

THIS SO HARD. I love you.

It took me a while to get over the knee-jerk defend-Dean reflex, but there's nothing to defend; I adore the man, but damn does he need a skillet to the head. He reminds me of my father; man would do everything except utter the words "I'm sorry."

That so sucks. I'm sorry. If only Dean would let up on the self-hatred; it's his own kind of emotional Teflon.
