COMPUTER DISASTER!

I'm so upset I can't even type!  My beloved computer has been overtaken by a hideous virus!  For some reason AOL runs, but NOTHING ELSE DOES.  I think it's a Trojan Horse.  My brother spent half the afternoon on the phone with me trying various fixes, but this thing is really evil and won't let go.

If you can still access the internet then you could try googledocs to write on? It isn't much different than Word, a bit more clunky but still, it works.

BUT AHHH! DAMN VIRUSES! I hope your computer is okay =(

Do you have a Mac or a PC?

I have a PC. There are actually two viruses that I am aware of; a virus that keeps saying "Open With" and I have no access to any programs except this one. It's a Trojan horse virus that makes it impossible to download any malware or to do anything else. The other is causing pop-ups aplenty about random computer stuff (not ads).

THANK GOD, I found that I could get into Microsoft Word if, instead of trying to get into the program, I went to my folder and opened the actual document! My story lives again!

That doesn't address the real issue,it's keeping me calmer.

Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow. I've been at this for about 7 hours, so it's time to hit the sack.
