1. I got sick, got well, and then I got sick again. I'm almost well, again. My lovely now live in boyfriend has managed to trump me by getting the kind of sick where you get a diagnosis and antibiotics.  Luckily, he also got the kind of doctor advice that involves get back into bed and stay there. I came to school earing a black suit, black hat w/ maroon feather, white button down, maroon tie with a silver leaf an deer print, maroon suspenders, black shoes...and fuzzy pink socks. I made cards for my chest pocket (and hung a sign on my back) that said:

Starting School is hard. It's hard every year...and this year is hard. Overwhelmed and melted down at least three times this week -- twice on the undeserving boyfriend who is also starting his semester and was very kind and decent about it -- and who sent me off to get some sleep.
