Family History Smallville Link

My uncle looked into our family history and Jackie was reading it and started giggling. Apparently we have a Clark Blake in our family tree who was a farmer. Granted he was in West VA and not Kansas but we thought it was cute.

Family history can be fun. I like your connection, as tenuous as it is.

At first I though Jackie was kidding but it was right there in black and white. And apparently we are descended from some earl in england who has o 6 million dollar estate. too bad we can't claim it...lol

I have an aunt who does genealogy. She's followed branches of the family all the way back to Charlemagne's times. I tried to get into it when I was younger, but couldn't really get very far. Still I find it fascinating to find out about past family members.

I wonder how far back Britons accept family obligations... *g*

Ha! And Clark isn't even a common name. It's nice that he was a farmer :)

I know right it's an unusual first name. And it was back in the 1800's so I thought it was really odd
