Wow! This chapter was really bittersweet.

It was so nice to see Luke having his epiphanies and realizing that Reid had been fulfilled in a new way when he was in Oakdale.

I love the way that you write Holden and Luke in this story.

Great job!

Thanks. The next chapter will bring a conclusion to this. Not saying anyone's going to like it or hate it, though. I actually think Holden and Reid would've gotten along great in the long run. I wish we'd been able to see that relationship develop.

I totally agree. Glad that I took a chance on this story. At first I did not want to because I knew that Reid was dead. But, as I read ur story, I was glad I did. hate to see it end. I cried reading this chapter.

I know I've been a turkey about commenting lately. To be honest, it seems like I always find your updates when I'm using my phone...and commenting on that is a pain in the rear. But that's really no excuse.

In any case, I'm really sad to see this story come to an end. Ash has settled in my heart and I'll miss not reading what's to come for him.

This is a really beautifully written story...you convey emotion almost too well. I feel every single one at my very core.

I can actually understand about the phone thing. I get caught on that upon occasion as well.

I'm actually sad about seeing this end, too. I feel like I've gotten to really know all of these characters, and I'll miss them.

I'm really glad you like the story. I've enjoyed the process of writing it.

U made me cry for both Ash and Lanie. I don't know if I can take u separating them. Sad but great chapter. Holden is feeling Ash's emotions, that is a plus.

Thanks. Besides Reid, I always felt like Holden was the only one who ever truly got Luke. I've always liked their relationship - warts and all.

:((

I wish I had something more eloquent to say, but this just made me so sad.

I'm sorry. I guess I was going for a little sadness. I hope that it all comes around to a good conclusion in the next chapter. I'm refining it as we speak. Hopefully I'll have it posted in the next day or so.

For some unknown reason, I was crying about Reid during my lunch hour today and then I read this tonight and I'm crying all over again. How is it to still feel so much over a fictional character? I still can't get over it. But anyway, what a wonderful, but very sad, chapter.

I feel so much for Luke. He feels so much and I just want to imagine that he'll meet someone who'll love him as much as he loves, just like he said it was with Reid.

One more chapter . . . :(

I'm sorry I made you cry. Will it help to know I was sniffling while I wrote it?

Will it help to know that I wrote an epilogue?

That does help. Thanks! :)
