Luke's always leaned towards being gentle. He could be firm, he could be argumentative, but Ash is the one that'll take a swing without a second's hesitation.
I think to some degree, Ash is coming to terms with that, too.

But I do think Ash still has a little ways to go in dealing with everything that's happened. He's not resolved who he was with who he is just yet. Ultimately, that's the goal.

I was wondering if Ash was ever going to release his emotions. He had been a bit too calm for my liking.
Good to know Jason is going to be okay. I still hope they stay in Oakdale.

But in Carl, I can see some of those same qualities in Holden being what attracted Luke to the bar owner in the first place.
