Couple of links for you today.

1. We were watching the original Kirk Douglas' Spartacus last night. An hour in the name Marcus Lucius Crassus is thrown about, the old man and I are like some Roman guy. Pip on the other hand restates the name perfectly and recites a few facts about him. We're looking at her and she says "Horrible Histories ( Read more... )

I have to ask: is/are there any books or sites that helped you make the transition to the paleo diet? I half-heartedly google sometimes, but it feels very overwhelming to go through the results. I downloaded the, uh, oh! The Primal Blueprint, but trying to read it puts me right to sleep. What I need is something simple, preferably bullet point-ed. Is there anything like that that you know about?

I wanted to make a quick reply to let you know that I am busy this A.M., but am leaving this tab up and will spend this afternoon putting some stuff together for you.

Oh, you don't have to put "stuff" together! I just thought if maybe there was a quick do/don't primer that you knew of, I'd appreciate a link. I don't want you doing the work just because I'm too lazy/ADHD to do it. That's not fair.

Too late and I don't mind. The world is not fair so this is my small sacrifice to make it as fair as possible. ;-)

Anyway...

If I remember right, I skimmed The Primal Blue Print, a little to…dry for me. I've read several books: Wheat Belly, 21 Day Total Body Transformation, Eat Like a Dinosaur (cookbook/paleo explanation) and Rich Food, Poor Food. Pip enjoyed the dinosaur one; their target audience, and I got some useful info out of Rich Food.

I don't know if I've ever seen a bullet point's type thing for paleo. Although, Mark's Daily Apple has a good primal food pyramid and Primal Palatehas nice graphics in their 30 Day Guide to Paleo. (I can send this to you if you want ( ... )
