I live in Brooklyn, NY and I was hoping to join a CSA sometime in the next month or so. I was wondering if anyone here is a member of a CSA or could suggest a CSA for me to look into. If you are a part of a CSA, what are the pros and/or cons? Thanks a lot!

Today our CSA sent out a list of anticipated harvest dates for the summer. I'm very excited! Time to start looking for recipes...

7/1- Tomatoes, Squash, Peppers

7/10- Okra

7/15- Green Beans, Pole Beans, Butterbeans, Corn, Cucs, Field Peas, Watermelons

And wouldn't you know it? As soon as I am actively looking for a salad spinner and plastic containers, I could not find anything last weekend. Six estate sales and at least ten garage sales, and not one piece of plastic. It's a conspiracy. LOL
