I love being an RA at my college. But closing check-outs suck. College students are pigs and live in filth. I had to deal with so much attitude when I kindly suggested that people clean their rooms. I've ended up reading your post, because ... well, I've been stalking Chthonia (again), and afterwards I didn't feel like doing anything particularly useful. Your post made me laugh :D I really cannot understand some people. Used condoms??!!! Eeewwww I really hope, that you are talking about single rooms!

It reminds me at something I've heard recently. I've been in the US to learn a Computer system for a company I work with. For the time of our stay, we had to share our room with a person we've never met before. But we were strictly forbidden to take any third person in these rooms. This seemed to be a stupid rule, but the leader of the station told us why: Apparently, five (!!!) people complained in one year, that their roommate was shagging anyone while they were trying to sleep in the bed beside him/her .... really ....

Yay! It's so great to hear I'm not the only stalker on Chthonia's journal--I check every day:( I am starting to feel rather pathetic that my life's greatest happiness right now is dependent on her next update;) I also stalk your HP fanart on deviantart--nut I'm going to start leaving more comments--I feel guilty for just skimming through people's hard work after the difficult art class I took in college this year. I also friended you, if you want to add me back.

And the rooms I checked were not single rooms, they were double rooms for roommates. I used to be 'sexiled', which basically was me getting kicked out when my roommate's boyfriend came over. He actually helped me pack my shit before helping me out the door. Eventually I confronted her though. But that's the perks of being an RA, I get my own room now:)
