Hell week continues
This week in May is affectionately known as hell week in our family. Part of my absence...
Nearly two weeks now, and parts of me are still numb, still unbelieving. My father was in an accident at work. He ws loading a forklift onto a flatbed trailer, and the trailer jolted. There's tons I could theoretically post right now I suppose, but getting it into postable form takes more brainpower than I currently have.
I lost my voice last Monday, and still cannot talk normally... somewhere between a less-than-sexy breathless rasp and whispering. It sucketh muchly.

Long day...
Today was Gramma's funeral. I didn't think it'd be this rough, but it was. I broke down about twice, but having my Dad there helped tons. After going to Fort Snelling for the interment, we all headed over to Paul and Cindee's for beer, wine, and pizza. Miss you Gramma, rest in painless peace now
My grandmother, Jean Ericksen, died Monday morning. I'm up in Minnesota for a bit, for the funeral and helping my mom get things situated. I'll keep anyone who cares updated.
