HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT.

I've had this open in my tabs for a while; I was working on a Tron-rebirth myself so I was going to wait but then I just sort of... started reading... and got TOTALLY HOOKED OH MY GOD I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS. I love the post-world-world you've created and OH MY GOD ALAN, OH MY GOD, I just started freaking out when he already had sexy program clothes. And ahsjdhglkfsd Flynn messing with their systems and ffff just, everything.

The one tiny tiny thing I was bothered by was Alan calling him Kevin? It's just one of those things, I mean, everyone calls him Flynn, even Lora, so it was a little jarring but WHAT EVER, AMAZING FIC IS AMAZING SO WHO GAF.

Oh my . . . thank you for giving such a wonderful comment. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it, and that it worked for you.

As to the Kevin thing . . . given that these two men worked together on Encom for seven years or so, I figured they'd be on a first-name basis. If Flynn can call him Alan, Alan can call him Kevin.

The movie had a few loose ends and I loved the way you resolved them here, with Sam and Alan returning to the Grid to sort things out, and Tron getting restored to his former self. Some very welcome closure, in my opinion :)

Thank you! I hate loose ends (or possibly love them) and I always like to see what I can do about tying up the continuity. Tron's too awesome to disappear or get stuck as Rinzler, and I really love the idea of Alan on the Grid.

Oh man, I love this SO hard! I ♥ both Alan and Tron (and, okay, even Rinzler because he's evil!Tron and he has Bruce Boxleitner's voice, what can I say? *blush* ;) ) and this is exactly what I'd love the opener to the next Tron movie to be! \o/

Not only is the image of Alan and Tron being all awesome ninjas together like that such a fantastic one, but I love the idea that Sam came back and helped rebuild and repair all the damage that was done to the Grid. ♥!

Really great work and I enjoyed it so very much! ♥!

ETA: Forgot to say that I totally *squeed* at Alan's "A" on his Program armor! That's just so very YES, PLZ! \o/ ;)

♥! ♥! ♥!

I'm so glad you liked this - and I can't imagine Sam doing anything other than repairing the Grid, now that he's learned responsibility. And Alan and Tron being ninja-ly together was an image I couldn't get out of my head and had to share.

Alan's A just makes sense given that Tron has a T, and it's . . . yeah, I was going YES, PLZ as well :)
