My favourite way of dealing with tough losses is laughing at them. So I love world cinema...the more pretentious and abstract the better, especially if it's in a foreign language (there's something nicely unsettling about people acting in a language you don't understand) - French and German are my favourites (La Haine and Die Welle are two of my favourite films ever!).
