of endings

Despite a restless night in which I was too excited to sleep until past four, I was up bright and early for my Psych final. The studying and painful construction of little memory tricks worked wonderfully - I'm pretty damn sure I aced it. After class was over, I headed straight for the computer lab to print my paper, and hauled it off to Goodman ( Read more... )

book review, school, twilight, exams, tl;dr

I cannot wait to do character analysis on this shit. DO YOU KNOW HOW FUN THE INFERRING IS GOING TO BE?

I adore your commentary. <3

btw - I hated the rest of the books. Really. But several characters - most notably Jacob and Rosalie - actually get something resembling character development. Rosalie has a slightly predictable but also pretty damned plausible and kind of interesting motive to hate Bella's guts. Jacob, by the fourth book, is even more of a creeper than Edward, but until then he's actually interesting. I won't spoil you too much in case you attempt the other books, but yeah. AGREED ON TOTAL CHARACTER FAIL IN FIRST BOOK, THOUGH. Also, none of this is near enough to redeem the utter shit that is the series.

Also: "She collects children like Pokemon" = I came from laughter.

I'm glad it amused you. ♥ I figured as long as I was going to tl;dr, I might at least make it funny.

.....duuuuuuude. It's hard to be more of a creeper than Edward. Damn, Jacob. Daaaaaamn. And it's okay, I've spoiled myself for a lot of it. I'm reading the books for the lulz. XD;;;;

I don't want to buy the other books, and I doubt there will be any available copies in any library. If you have them, may I borrow them?

XDDDD Wild Bellasue appeared!

I do not have them. All I have is a copy of Breaking Dawn which I have been given permission by the owner to burn at my discretion. Sorry!

Ah, well. I'll track them down somehow.

Wow. You are amazing to the power of pi.

I pretty much have to agree with everything you've said. I skipped over the character bios because I haven't read that far in the series yet, and I probably will eventually... it's less painful to read than, say, Great Expectations, and I kind of do want to know what happens in the end, if only to have fun screaming at the book.

And much as I would like Alice for myself (lol) I would LOVE to see her get together with Bella in a crazy awesome sequel. The fandom would EXPLODE. Take THAT, teenage and preteen girls everywhere! Ah, they would be interesting times.

^/////^ Thank you, I had fun writing it. And if you've read the first book, there's nothing spoilery in the character-bios.

And I would love to see you screaming at Breaking Dawn. XDD

It'd be the SSM treatment, only with vampire lesbians. And hell, you and Mizu can fight over her threesome. XDDD

IS IT NOT THE MOST HORRIFIC THING EVER?

If you want all four books in an electronic format, I can give them to you. *shifty eyes*

Not the worst thing ever, I would say. Just very mediocre. Maybe the next three books will change that.

Would you do that? I really don't want to put any money toward Meyer and her Mormon No-Gay Donations. also I am in college and poor. ;~;

They really don't. Wait until you get to the infamous imprinting.

Of course! Here you go! With bonus Midnight Sun, lawl.

I don't think I could agree more with your icon unless it included Jin.

After reading this, I'm sure I've read parts of Twilight. I think someone was raving about it about how you are (about how ridiculously cheesy much of it is, and that the characters have...no characters) and had posted up some excerpts to then mock...I remember it being a fun read with all the commentary between the scenes from the book.

I think yours was more fun to read though...and I'll definitely be avoiding both book and movie...9,9...

*GLOMPHUGGLES* Can't wait to get to talk to you more now that you're on break! Maybe we can get Edgeworth's trip to town finished up. XDDD
