But seriously though, thanks a lot for filling this. Poor Rachel. She's just so desperate for approval and validation that you can totally see her doing this, and your heart breaks for her. And in the end, she gets what she wants, but she totally doesn't and it's just horrible. *hugs her*

Points for that bit about Kurt smiling at her. Because, as much as I love Monsieur Hummel, his attitude towards Rachel gets him serious "dude, not cool" points in my book. Rachel wanting him to like her breaks my heart even more.

I wanted to add Kurt as one of the people Rachel wanted to gain approval from because it just kind of makes sense. I think Rachel genuinly wants to be friends with Kurt(maybe even looks up to him in a way) and he just continues to treat her so badly. =/

I like how you've got Santana being nice to Rachel, especially considering what they're doing, and the friendship with Kurt is nice too. But the best part of this story is that it hurts, even though Rachel got what she wanted.

I can srsly fall in love with a close Kurt/Rachel friendship but sadly Kurt is a real grade A ass towards Rach. Hopefully things change in S2 in regards towards Rachel.

Yep, I'm desperately hoping for a storyline in S2 where Kurt gives Rachel a real make-over as an apology and they go on to become bffs that sing epic power-ballad duets together. XD
