And now that I'm resting this evening my toe is aching. Ugh. Really annoyed that I'm STILL having problems with that ( Read more... )

Those are some great shots in the woods. The view at the top is gorgeous - I love rolling hills.

Tilt-shift always reminds me of Mr. Rogers.

Tilt-shift TOTALLY reminds me of Mr. Rogers. It's not really my thing and I actually find it kind of annoying most of the time, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the photo.

Those are actually mountains in the background! They're pretty distant, but they're much bigger than hills!

I guess I am so used to mountains being rocky and jutting, that I don't think of them being covered with anything else!

Haha yep! They don't call them the "Green mountains" for nothing! They're all covered in trees and they're really OLD mountains so they're worn down enough (most of them at least) that they're below the tree line and so trees all the way to the top.

I love this one: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8179/7916961552_8ac48ea317_z.jpg

and the one two down from that. I like the "offset dog in nature" theme I guess. :)

It is a GORGEOUS view. People have been going up there for well over a hundred years and there are photos back to about a hundred or more years ago from the same spot.
