I thought becoming an art history tutor would be good - not just for the money, but also for slowly immersing myself into more social situations. Well, now it seems to be backfiring. My art history professor said that some students have been bragging to other students about how much I've helped them. She ended our meeting with a phrase that

I'd like to . . . but the professor is desperate for her students to make good grades. And the fact that she's an authority figure makes it nearly impossible for me to back out in any way. Me=huge chicken
