...I am speechless! I saw beautiful images here, and just exquisite writing. And this story does conflict me because it has no resolution for the characters! My heart pines here!

Interestingly, a thought that comes to me about this work is it is kind of the quintescential ... fear? undertone of possiblity? ... that runs through fics where Al (and the reader) may worry about Ed's increasing overzealousness. Very nice. Very very VERY nice.

And of course, a lovely treat to wake up to, compounded with the gift of last night. Oh, cryo, I don't know what brought you to be bunnied so fervently into posting but there of course is only thanks from me for that.

Would you like me to write where a few articles are missing from the first ocuple sentences, or will you not do anything with them? Whichever is fine. :)

Also, I didn't realize at first that this story was in present-tense. I've always loved the way present-tense makes me tingle, with a sense of impending excitement. I've always wanted to write something that way, but I've ( ... )

You already know I love this. Poor Ed, poor Al, and actually I really like the way you can squint at the beginning there and see hints of Al/Riza if you like. Very pretty and very sad.

And can I please have drugged Ed for my pillow now? I want to lay on him and pet him.

Wow this is awesome. I love the way you deal with the big issues he boys face -- what sacrifice is acceptable, what is too much, 20/20 hindsight, selfishness and regret.
