[ for many different reasons -- curiosity? vengeance? -- you have decided to follow the instructions on Masqué's engraved invitation. weaving your way through the woods, avoiding the undead and ignoring the sullen calls of crows and toucans, you have found yourself at a small manor that you don't remember seeing even once since arriving at Camp.

the manor seems to be at war with itself: a bizarre and precarious balance between decrepit and glamorous lines its interior. gold chalices covered in dust on shelves, beautiful paintings covered with a thick layer of grime, sturdy furniture with legs removed and torn velvet pillows. there are libraries and studies, parlors and observatories... the manor is large and yet somehow appears to be well-lived in.

on the second floor is a series of bedrooms, and the same with the third and fourth floors. fifty people could be housed in this manor comfortably. in your exploration, you also find what is possibly an entrance to a basement, but it's well-locked. please ignore it for now.

as night descends outside, you find your way into the only lit room in the house: the dining hall. a large table with several settings awaits you... along with a tall, thin man in a black cloak and bird feet for hands. ]

Please set down and join us, my beloved child, and mingle for a spell. I must take my leave for a few hours, but please rest assured: dinner is about to begin.

((I'm running out to work for a few hours, be back at 9:30PM EST. Tonight is a Meet and Greet sort of night, followed by a Dinner event when I return. A post will also be going up in CFUD proper about the game. Join me in #theoldcroweats for CFUW talk. o7

ETA: Q&A.
ETA2: Okay, now dinner is served.
ETA3: Suspicion poll is now up in campfuckudie. It's completely fine to talk about the game there.))
