Let me reiterate how awesome of a show Justified is. Not only is it surprisingly funny and quirky and badass, but Timothy Olyphant OWNS this show. Raylan Givens is a swaggering, ice cold, badass of a hero who shoots first and asks questions later. The dialogue is amazing and I actually think Art has better lines than Raylan, but I love when Raylan has to talk himself out of situations (which is about every episode). No one can bluff more convincingly than Olyphant.

That teaser scene where Raylan gave that "prayer" in front of Boyd's congregation was...my jaw was on the floor. I'm not normally one to notice dialogue (I'm more visually oriented) but when he was through with that I actually clapped I was so astonished.

Dear Lord, before we eat this meal, we ask forgiveness for our sins, especially Boyd, who blew up a black church with a rocket launcher and afterwards shot his associate Jared Hale in the back of the head on Street Bridge. Let the image of Jared’s brain matter on the windshield not dampen our appetite but may the the knowledge of Boyd’s past sins help guide these men. May this food provide them with all the nourishment they need, but if it does not, may they find comfort in knowing the United States Marshals Service is offering $50,000 to any individual providing information that will put Boyd back in prison. I love Raylan, but even the minor characters are awesome. The only one I'm not too wild about is Winona, since she's taken to screwing with Raylan's head and she LEFT RAYLAN. Who DOES that? He might be difficult, but he's Raylan and has more awesome than she'll ever see again (and is obviously good in bed or she wouldn't have gone running back for THAT and nothing else).
