Bring Me My Warrior Muumuu
Let me reiterate how awesome of a show Justified is. Not only is it surprisingly funny and quirky and badass, but Timothy Olyphant OWNS this show. Raylan Givens is a swaggering, ice cold, badass of a hero who shoots first and asks questions later. He also has a noble streak a mile wide, a father he hates, an ex-wife he's still in love with and who likes to toy with his emotions, a crazy girlfriend who shot her husband, and a former friend who is nuts in his own special way. Olyphant plays Raylan with style and attitude, but at the end of the day you see the cracks in the armor and just how emotionally fragile Raylan is in some ways. He's been running from his past so hard he doesn't have anything OTHER than running to define himself. And lets not even get started on his screwed up coworkers.
So, here's a picspam sort of celebrating the awesomeness that is Timothy Olyphant and also some of the awesomeness that is Justified.
Raylan and his partners are ten kinds of awesome. Tim is a sniper who has combat issues and Rachel just has issues. Raylan's issues are of a whole nother level, but when they get together, they're funny and protective of each other even though they annoy the crap out of each other sometimes.
Raylan's scruffy, stupid face is amazing.
And he has THE best facial expressions. Timothy looks SO young sometimes.
Yes, I understand he's just had the crap beat out of him, but look how in shape his man is. He's in his forties and he looks this good.
Something about this picture makes me smile as his smile actually looks genuine.
Anyone who looks that badass with that cookie duster wins points from me.
