lol you're right. i think it's because i spend the ENTIRE day talking to him -- and not even actually talking. IM talking.

and that's what he and i were saying on the way back here... like, maybe she doesn't know me either and was like "oh shit," once she got the ball rolling. but then i feigned knowing her so well that maybe now she's like "um... maybe i do know her? no... well..."

That would be PERFECTION if 2 people glance each other from a distance, think they know the other person but realize up close that, in fact, they do not. But it's too late, because one of them took the leap to fake the big hello, and so they both have to fake it.

Hmm, there might be the basis of a good story there.
