He simply shook his head and decided not to pursue the matter any longer. "So is this one of your official parties?" he asked, curious about the party aspect of it. "I would've thought you'd throw one of those long before now, especially now that you don't have to fight tooth and claw for any alcohol!"

"Official parties?" Oliver repeated, blinking at him. Then he laughed, realizing what he meant. "No, it's not one of those! But you're right; I'll have to set one up soon. I guess I haven't already because I was too busy recovering." He smirked faintly to himself, thinking of his pub visit with Lyle.

Looking ahead, he realized that they were almost there already. He only hoped Lara was ready.

"Tonight, this is just us."

"And here I thought all that tea helped you before!" he chuckled, then he paused, catching what Oliver meant. He couldn't help smirking. "Hold on a mo', you mean after your night of drinking with Lyle? Had one too many pints, eh?"

He spotted their destination, looking for Lara. "Just us, huh? I like that. But where'd you say she was going to meet us?"

Oliver smirked. "You could say that," he admitted. "And I've gotta be in top form for an 'official' party, you know." He shook his head, amused that the Doctor was looking at them that way.

As they continued to approach, however, he also started looking for Lara. "She knows the place," he replied easily. "She's probably either there already or following us."

"Does that mean you like to fast before your parties?" he asked, bemused at the notion. Though again, his suspicions were rising. "Those are quite the extremes, Ollie. I'd think if she were following us, she would've said something by now." As he said that, he glanced over his shoulder, and saw no sign of Lara or anyone vaguely Lara-shaped at all.
