Away to bed early with me tonight. Joe's boss was out sick for three days last week, and apparently whatever it was came home on Joe and decided to attack me. Last night I had the worst headache I've ever had: it hurt so bad my teeth were hurting. I climbed into bed early and just slept all night. The past few days have been a little rough. The biggest thing is, Reo's infection came back on his chin. I had to bring him back to the vet this morning, although it wasn't as pricey as it usually is because she just gave me some new antibiotics, told me to give it to him in conjunction with the Temaril-P (anti-inflammatory) and see if this works. When you're home sick for the day, nothing's better than waking up late in the morning to find the dog sleeping at your feet, and the cat curled up by your side.

Except maybe when hubby comes home and makes soup. :)

Took a personal day on Tuesday because my irritation from my allergic reaction just was not getting better. But then after one day off of work I started to see improvement. It seems that holding Little Girl, my department's cat, was probably what was keeping my skin so irritated. They don't feed the cats very good food, so they shed a LOT. (I can ( Read more... )

Three things I've noticed, while on these sweet, sweet antibiotics of mine. One, I get really warm, but I can't even tell. I was really red upon arriving at work and even though our a/c at work is FREEZING (so much so that my coworkers and I wear jackets during the day, yes, in 90+ degree weather, whenever we are inside the building.
