Away to bed early with me tonight. Joe's boss was out sick for three days last week, and apparently whatever it was came home on Joe and decided to attack me. Last night I had the worst headache I've ever had: it hurt so bad my teeth were hurting. I climbed into bed early and just slept all night. I'm about to go up to bed as I can already feel another headache coming on right now. :\
Getting closer to having stuff ready for EXP Con. I'm never fully prepared but I am getting close to having a good bit of stuff to bring with. All of my ears have been pinned, now I just need to sew them up and attach them to headbands. I also made my outline for my panel at EXP Con. Trying to stay ahead but the con is just creeping up on me. Thankfully my panel is not until Sunday morning!
In other news Joe found a neat television on the side of the road today: a flat-screen DLP HDTV. It came with the remote and everything. The only thing missing as far as we can tell is the projection lamp. I found one online from a site that allows returns, so we ordered the lamp and if it works, well, we've got ourselves a new 46" television. I love rich people in Florida, they furnish our house with their droppings. <3
That wasn't the only thing Joe brought home today. He also brought me a new pet! Yesterday he had seen a HUGE wolf spider while he was working, and I told him the next one he found I wanted him to bring home for me. I always tease him and tell him he should bring me the frogs, snakes, lizards (still waiting on a glass lizard!) and bugs he finds, well today he found another huge wolf spider and he did actually bring it home for me! It is in the Kritter Keeper right now. >_> He's pretty cool, he was a bit nervous when I put him in there but he settled in enough to move around a bit after a short while. I gave him a mealworm to see if he would eat it but he didn't seem interested yet. Can't say I blame him.
The weather lately has been absolutely fantastic, today I was able to have my windows open while I worked. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 75. A bit too cold for my blood; good thing I'll be buried under a pile of faux fur.
I only wish I had time to stop and take photos of things recently, but it just has not been a priority yet. So busy with working, and trying to stay sane (and failing at that) but after EXP is over things should settle down a -little- bit as I won't have to worry about production, only filling orders that are placed. :)
