Sunshine all the time makes a desert

Tomorrow I will be off to Utah, to do some camping and hiking in Arches National Park and Canyonlands. I've never been to Utah (driving through Salt Lake City on my way from Seattle to Denver does not count) and I've never been hiking or camping in a desert-y area (only woodsy areas), so I'm excited to do something new. And we haven't been camping

That sounds like the perfect holiday. I too am fond of camping that involves being able to bring books and bottles of wine :) Have fun!
