I go in for pre-op on the 22nd. I have jaw surgery on the 27th.

I'm still in shock that it's actually happening. As the even draws near, it becomes more real, and I feel more scared.

Before surgery? Pizza, enchiladas, hot links, pie, stir fry (with extra bamboo shoots!), raw apples, and cereal. Oh, and a local specialty we have here in Texas called Frito Pie. Gawd, I would eat so much Frito Pie.

Will do!

I've been loading up on salads while I still can, but alas, I can't bite into an apple without dislocating my jaw right now :( Can't wait for surgery!

Last night the company bought me a half a fried chicken at The Pit, Raleigh's #1 BBQ joint (which I will take you to when you come to visit again). We were celebrating the release of our latest project. I had ried turnip greens with ssuash medley on the side with a mojito.

It was gooooood.

I, unfortunately, had no insurance from the age of six onwards, so when I broke a tooth last september and had a root canal and etc out of pocket at the dental school, I sprung for being a dental boards patient for graduating students ( ... )
