I have this recurring habit of over-packing books when I travel. No matter how hard I try to keep the level of reading material I'm going to haul all over bus stations/airports/the known universe to a minimum, inevitably I end up juggling anywhere from four to ten books in my luggage. Okay, that's the combined trip book count - I know for a fact ( Read more... )

Well, it's at least typical.
I still am thinking about taking it.

I'm taking the Megabus down tomorrow and will be back Monday evening. My sister lives in Natick, and the parentals are driving in from the Midlands for the weekend.

I love Boston, but have been too bloody poor to go. Megabus is such a blessing, OMG. It was 4.50 for my ticket. Total. Soooo... I see a lot more Boston in my future. :D

It's like a travel book swiss army knife!
Which is apt, as it's King.

Oh wow, that is interesting timing. Huh.

I KNOW, RIGHT? The return trip cost me ONE DOLLAR. O_o As it's a straight shot to South Station, it's roughly the same amount of time as driving.

I distinctly hear Packing Tricksters laughing maniacally in the Between.

Sorry your dreams of packing light were spoiled again. Shoes and clothes for any possible weather occurrence for wherever I am traveling to seem to be my packing downfall. On the plus side...you only have to trudge it to my work and can then set it down again...though it is uphill...so maybe that really isn't a plus side...Good luck!!!

EGS! See you tomorrow!!!!

It's five books in one!

One time I had like 5 books in my carryon, and got stopped at security and they had alllllllll the security people come over to look at the xray. Apparently books and plastic explosives look similiar on the scanner.

I'm starting to consider getting an ebook reader so I don't have to fill a suitcase with books when I go places.
