I'm so happy you like it. It's the piece that I worked the longest on this year and the one I'm most satisfied with. I had an idea of how I wanted it to look and it felt like I managed to create a very satisfying embodiement of it in the end.

I just noticed however that the size of it isn't the 1680x1050 that it "should" be but instead 1680x1020. I've absolutely no idea how this happened! It was quite easy to fix though so I've uploaded a correct version for you here. I'm so sorry about this!!

You're using the right four-letter L word there - I friggin' LOVE it! It's so, so perfect for the story AND is gorgeous. I wish I could hug it. [Not as much as I wish I could hug *you*, but definitely a lot. :D] And I'm super excited to hear that you are so happy with the end result too. \o/

I KNOW, RIGHT?? turlough is brilliant - this fits the story SO WELL. Let me know what you think of the mix - it *tastes* like concrete and desert sand to me.

It was what started the werewolf theme in the mix, I was gonna go all serious and not punny - plus short stack are the lolthecab of australia, they had to go on there.

This is one of those moments when I wish there was a 'Like!' feature on LJ, as I agree with every bit of what you just said. Well, aside from knowing that the mix not only looks good, but IS good. :D

Eee, the wallpaper! I love the blend of Desolation Row and Killjoys and wolves a lot. It's totally my desktop now.

Eee was my response to this as well, when I got it in my email. :D Isn't it the absolute best for a desktop? [That's so excellent, that you grabbed it for your wallpaper - but then, turlough's work has consistently been on my desktop for years, more than any other graphics artist.]

The mix rocks. Uh, literally and figuratively. :)
