This mix is such a perfect fit to the story and I just adore it. I've been listening to it non-stop since I got it. The majority of the artists are new to me, which is pretty exciting. And of the bands that I do know there's GUSTER, who is one of my absolute favorites. Their song, 'New Underground', is perfect. I love the werewolf and wolf references woven throughout. There are werewolf songs here I don't know! That's like Christmas coming wicked early! Well, really the whole mix is a very shiny present. :D

I love the cover art too - it fits the setting and general feeling of the fic, showcasing the desolation of the zones so well. Thank you so much, masterpenguin82!

This is currently the wallpaper on both my computers. If I had a handy printer at my disposal, I'd been copying this and using it as *actual* wallpaper. :D

I love the composition of this piece. The vivid colors that make up the Killjoys' world are present here, but are muted and made grungy. I think that's an excellent blend of the world shown in the Desolation Row video and that of the Killjoys. This graphic manages to feel bright and dirty all at once, which is so fitting. The attention to detail is fantastic - I love the denim/burlap texture on the background, how the central images are off-set and how the top line of barbed wire is also the horizon line for the desert scene. Even the font is perfect with its makeshift feel. Then there's the dim-rainbow flavored stack of images, tying the various elements of the story together. I am particularly fond of the first one, where the vivid green around Bob is leaching into Mikey too. The sepia tint on the main picture of Bob - both wolf and man - pulls the desert in the image so well.

MOSTLY, THOUGH, IT'S THE BEST. :D Thank you, turlough! This is simply gorgeous.

As are the beautiful set of icons she made to accompany the story. ♥!!

Please do tell my artist and mixer how much you enjoy their work as well!
