Morning!
[Considering the inevitable time iterations, it's no longer morning for half of you and is no longer Sunday for a handful more. But we can *pretend* it's still Sunday morning. Yay for the arbitrary nature of time!]
kimberly_tries had posted this poem earlier today. I'm re-posting it over here, because...well, it struck a chord with me, and I wanted to

There's a part of me that wishes that the first poem was more about a general you being born rather than a woman. It shouldn't rub me thr wrong way because it's a beautiful, powerful poem, but if the brain reads something into words, there's not much I can do about it. Also, I've seen ads for a horror/fantasy short story contest on account of it being the 200th aniversary of Edgar Allan Poe's birth. I should look into the details and see what happens, right?

So. I have a ninja plot bunny drawn up for you, but I can't figure out how to use my cell to upload it here. It's going to have to wait until I get home and to the scanner.
Anyhoo... yeah, I agree. Nightly ninja skills would be of great benefit to the world! Perhaps we should take note and add that to our plans for effective World Domination, eh?
*considers* See, part of what I liked about the poem was it's gender-specificity. :)

YES. YES, YOU SHOULD.

Absolutely! I don't know how we could have missed this. Just think of vampire ninja bunnies assisting the Outlaw James Ford in his quest for ... whatever he's looking for, aside from Doctor Jack, that is.
Heh, I guess what bothered me was that it's a guy poet writing about creating a woman, or helping her come to be. I'm going to brainwash myself tinto thinking that it's told from a female POV and I'll love the poem even more.
:D !!! I even have emo-ish ideas and everything. I like it.

That's actually a special order - Dan had decorated a vase with his ninja vamps, and I had to have a mug. Did you look at the site? His stuff's hilarious. [He calls 'em 'prep school vamps', but I know the truth.]

The angry!cat! design is one of my faves too. But I really love his design sensibility [and, like I said, his sense of humor] over all.

Pound is quite interesting. I throughly enjoyed poetry hour today. Thanks! *folds up her chair and puts on the stack with the others* Can't wait to see what you come up with for next week. *wanders off to find some fabric to play with*

Pound can be a little tiresome [he likes to pitch multiple languages into his poems], but I also love the stuff he does with classical myths. And these two made me go "Yes, exactly!", so I had to share. I'm glad you liked 'em, combie. *hugs*
OOOooo! You working on any projects in particular? And HEY - have you ever tried to make cloth dolls?
EGS BB!
Edited to add: So...I have to do a new intro post here. What do you think I need to add, that I've misses in teh past?
