Hey gang, I've a question. Where do you get your political news from? Not having a television limits my access to some of the insanity mainstream resources, and it's become quite obvious I need to do more than read the NY Times and listen to NPR. I'm interested in good international news sources of news too. Thank you!

I tend to stick to the BBC for world news. For everything else, I just follow the news links from the yahoo front page. I'm too lazy to dig any deeper.

The rest of my links are both local and in Spanish, I'm afraid.

The Republicans on my flist have had a variety of responses. One was very excited about Obama and how it represents progress re: the Civil Rights movement. The other had a weird moment when she said she was crying in fear or words to that effect.

BBC for me, too. It's all online, but I listen on my drive home each night, as it is morning news programs in Britain at that time.

I listen to the BBC World Service a lot, one of my local community stations carries it at night. I'm sure you could get it streaming, as well.

Bbc website is brilliant and you can set your geographic location to get it tilted more towards your likely interests.

I actually get a lot of it from leftist tv. :-) I listen to npr all day at work and I like to hit the home page of the chicago tribune and london times, at least, and eric zorn's blog at the trib in particular.
