i was in the same exact situation, only difference was, he transferred here to UMass to be with me and i broke up with him. talk about feelings of guilt and being a bitch!! seriously though, you're in college, exactly, you need to be on your own! college is all about freedom, and that includes freedom from old relationships! its hard, i know, BELIEVE ME, but it does get better over time, i swear....if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me

yeahhh.. same thing happened to me.. I couldn't handle being serious with someone, especially when he lived 5 hours away and we hardly got to see each other more than twice a month.
being able to date (well, date without guilt) is great though, so it was worth it.. ha..
