Luna was having quite a lot of fun with this secret escape. Whatever trouble her friend was in, it didn't keep him (or her) from arranging for transport. Odd muggle transport with whirling swords that somehow made it move. She spent the entire trip alternating between looking out the windows and talking to the pilot, not even noticing that he didn't answer. Poor man must have been mute. If he was a man. Oooh, maybe it was Harry and he'd surprise her when they landed!
So it wasn't Harry, the pilot. It didn't matter, he'd be here somewhere. Or Hermione would be - it was one of them who'd sent her the note and map that brought her here. Either or both didn't matter, she didn't have enough friends to ignore one or two needing help. Now, where would they be?
Luna skipped down the road, swinging her basket of berries and humming a tune as she thought. If it was Hermione, she'd be at the castle. Poor Hermione, she never could believe in something without seeing it. Harry now, if it was Harry he knew her, Luna, well enough to be somewhere not the castle. Hmmmmm. Well, she'd decide in a minute or two - she was hungry and thought a raspberry snack would be good.
She sat in the middle of the road, smoothed her skirt out, then plonked the basket in her lap and meditatively popped a berry in her mouth.
loke,
