River had learned everything she could from the crude communication device, and the castle itself. Nobody here seemed particularly hostile - not that something as little as that would keep River to herself.

She was still trying to understand the intricacies of the castle, though. It was obviously central to why they were here, but even with that information it made no sense. As she walked the long, and mostly empty halls, the sounds of a few doors opening and closing intermittently caught her attention. She followed along, far enough behind that she wasn't sure who was checking the rooms. Checking them for what?

Her curiosity got the better of her, and she finally hurried down the hall, hoping to catch the inquisitor. Instead, she just caught sight of the door as it closed. There was a second's debate about just barging in, before she knocked.

He blinked at the knock, turning his ear towards the door to listen much more aptly, she knocked three times, firmly, she wasn't afraid of her own curiosity. But it wasn't loud, so she must be tired. His mind was racing as Sherlock turned to pull the door open, looking the woman over once before finally flashing a little smile.

"Is there something you needed, madame?" Though, to be frank, she seemed much more like Irene then he liked, adventurous, curious and not at all as refined as his society claims that she should be... After all the woman happened to be armed as well as wearing pants rather than skirt and blouse... Not only were they pants but they happened to hug her legs in a most crude way.

River returned the smile, but only for a second before her expression hardened. "There's several things I need, but I'm not sure you're the right man for the job," she answered quickly. "But maybe you could answer a few questions for me in the mean time."

She gestured toward the room. There wasn't any feeling that he was hiding something, it just felt a little awkward to be talking out in the hallway. "May I?"

He rose a brow before stepping aside, waving the woman inside while his smile faded. "I could answer many questions for you, however. I have just arrived myself, so the information I know is but deduction." He says this softly, closing the door behind her once she was inside, moving to sit back on his bed as he looked around his new room once again.

"May I ask your name?"
