((OOC: Yay! Last section! I'm putting this up now before we've quite finished the previous section so that we can make everyone aware of the crashed helicopter - please can someone who knows about it bring it up! :-) Then people can start going to visit the pilot in the lab hospital.))

"Right! Well, it seems we've covered everything on the agenda!" Jack said happily, smiling round at everyone. "So... Is there anything else anyone wants to bring up? I'm sure I must have forgotten something! Or is there anything that's happened recently that we ought to know about?"

Lucifer was not entirely incurious about the pilot and what information could be extracted from him. He had had no luck with the one who had brought him here, but his agenda at that time with respect to this place and whoever was operating it was less well-formed then than it was now. Motivated as he was now, he could afford to be a touch more creative in his approach to the man.

"If you believe yourself incapable of physically subduing a hospitalized and drugged crash victim, I suppose I could find the time," he allowed. "If there's nothing else which bears discussing here..."

Finally Alexei seemed to find the voice to speak again, and the Russian accented soft voice spoke up. "Vampire blood is very healing." he blinked slowly. "If I got some blood to drink first, I could give him some of mine." he swallowed. "However, it is very important someone holds me while I do so. I am... a vampire yes, but even so the sight and smell of blood make me... a bit sick. I might get a reaction which requires someone strong to hold me back."

"Vampire blood is also very addictive," Marco protested at the little boy. "And getting an ill man addicted to something, is not the best thing in the world. If he would not be able to be given a steady supply, he might die of the withdrawal!" He almost sounded snappy.

"No." Alexei said simply. "It is addictive if it is cold, bit if fed directly from a vampire, it will give strength and vitality. Alexei was from another universe then Marco was, where vampires were open and known, and they burned in the sun. He almost gave the angel a glare.

"Wellph," Lou exhaled, frowning and a bit wide-eyed at the turn the discussion had taken, "This is gettin' a little too weird and too gross for me. Think I'm gonna go check out that helicopter deal."

He looked around the group, those who were still left, and waved his hand noncommittally. "It's been real, folks. Guess I'll be seein' you around."

“Yes, I think we’re done here,” Jack decided, after sending a rather pissed-off look at Lucifer. Devil or no, he couldn’t see any need for such an attitude.

“Thanks for coming, everyone, and good luck with your expeditions! Don’t forget to let everyone know the outcome! Those people who wanted help using the phones, Ianto’s here to help with that. Apart from that - thank you. We’re done!”

He turned in time to catch sight of Gray already slipping out of the room, and cursed silently for letting his brother get away. There was no way he could follow him, not having promised Harry he’d go and get the analgesics from his room - the helicopter pilot’s need was greater than his own. Biting back his frustration, he turned to Harry. “Harry, I’ll go and get you those painkillers now, so you and Dairine can go and see to the pilot.”

And he swept out of the ballroom.
