Methos had spent most of his time since he'd helped bury a body exploring the grounds, keeping away from the edges after actually going through the messages on the cell phone. For all that he was irritated at the inability to leave, he would rather be irritated than incapacitated ( ... )

There was no such luck, however; the blonde witch was out cold.

Making a face, Methos shifted, settling at the base of the tree to wait, and watch for someone else to come along - or for one of the unicorns like that which had killed the man buried a couple days earlier. He snorted softly to himself, making sure that he had a clear draw from the holster he had his gun in.

He supposed he could send a message for assistance with getting Tara back, but he only knew a handful of people here, and none of them well enough to request assistance from. Glancing at the unconscious blond, he wondered why he was still conscious when she wasn't. Perhaps because he wasn't intent on actually leaving?

"Silly girl," he muttered.

Two-Face had been scoping the castle and its grounds on his own, having left the group of younger people behind him. He'd hoped they wouldn't do anything stupid, but he fully realized that for all he knew, for every small group he met there might be another dozen people being brought into this place. And he couldn't find and warn them all.

What was going to happen was going to happen.

He wasn't expecting to run across a guy resting against a tree, guarding the body of a girl who seemed to be unconscious.

Unconscious or dead. Two-Face stopped in his tracks and inwardly cursed Captain Jack once again, because his gun might have come in handy right now.
