Loke was out sniffing, having chased a rabbit across the grounds, before the little thing had run into the forest. And from the sounds and smell in there, Loke did not quite want to follow him.

So when he spotted the figure of a person walking, a bit after he had caught his scent, Loke bolted towards him looking quite eager, hoping this person would wanna play. He grabbed a stick as he ran, and, well, it was not really a stick, but a branch, but Loke was big, and he was strong, so the running, massive wolf running straight towards Nick would scare anyone.

And the razor sharp teeth showing for holding the branch would not help much.

Nick heard Loke before he saw him. And when he heard something big running toward him, he really didn't want to turn around and see what it was. He froze for a moment in the snow, turning his head just enough to see the figure of a large dog-thing moving toward him.

He ran, quickly, but knew it was pointless and he would be outrun in an instant. Without thinking he ran toward the castle. It just would have been more helpful if he ran toward a section of castle that actually had a door, or an open window, or even a window he could break easily and get inside...

When he had no where else to run, he turned and backed up against the castle wall. "Get away from me!" he yelled, though it wasn't very convincing.

When Nick started running, Loke got even more excited, and chased after, even thought the branch did slow him down a bit. He stopped a few feet from Nick, tail wagging hard as he dropped the branch.

"Play!" He exclaimed in his head. "PLay with me! Please? He did a spin in the snow, wail wagging like hell. "Please play?"

Nick stayed backed against the wall, but visibly relaxed when he -- fuck, did I just hear that dog say something to me?

"Uh, what?" he said, not sure if he should direct the question to the animal by looking at it or not. "I...-- you just want to play?"

He nearly tripped over himself with how quickly Nick backed away from Loke. His mouth dropped open, watching Loke, utterly terrified at the thought of what was going happen next.

"What...what the fuck?!"

Loke still had his naive expressing where he sat. He stood up on unsteady legs, seemingly don't minding his own nudity much. "Why are you scared? Am I much scarier like this? I can turn back if you want." he got a very puppy like childish expression. "I have never been very good at this." The bullet scar above his right eye was very visible now that he was a human.

Nick had no idea what to say. Or do for that matter. Actually, doing anything was completely out of the question right now. He just stared dumbly at Loke.

"You, uh, you...you're...you're a person now," he informed Loke of the fact, just in case he missed it.

Loke beamed where he stood on unsteady legs. "Yup! Or, well, I am a wolf. This is just my disguise! Clever, yes?!" His face was innocent, open and happy. And his eyes badly focused. Nick was to his vision, only a blob of blur.
