Loke was out sniffing, having chased a rabbit across the grounds, before the little thing had run into the forest. And from the sounds and smell in there, Loke did not quite want to follow him.

So when he spotted the figure of a person walking, a bit after he had caught his scent, Loke bolted towards him looking quite eager, hoping this person would wanna play. He grabbed a stick as he ran, and, well, it was not really a stick, but a branch, but Loke was big, and he was strong, so the running, massive wolf running straight towards Nick would scare anyone.

And the razor sharp teeth showing for holding the branch would not help much.

Nick heard Loke before he saw him. And when he heard something big running toward him, he really didn't want to turn around and see what it was. He froze for a moment in the snow, turning his head just enough to see the figure of a large dog-thing moving toward him.

He ran, quickly, but knew it was pointless and he would be outrun in an instant. Without thinking he ran toward the castle. It just would have been more helpful if he ran toward a section of castle that actually had a door, or an open window, or even a window he could break easily and get inside...

When he had no where else to run, he turned and backed up against the castle wall. "Get away from me!" he yelled, though it wasn't very convincing.

When Nick started running, Loke got even more excited, and chased after, even thought the branch did slow him down a bit. He stopped a few feet from Nick, tail wagging hard as he dropped the branch.

"Play!" He exclaimed in his head. "PLay with me! Please? He did a spin in the snow, wail wagging like hell. "Please play?"

Nick stayed backed against the wall, but visibly relaxed when he -- fuck, did I just hear that dog say something to me?

"Uh, what?" he said, not sure if he should direct the question to the animal by looking at it or not. "I...-- you just want to play?"

He bounced a bit, lifting the branch again, tail wagging, before he dropped it and barked his hoarse bark. "Yes play! Please? No one want to play with me and I want to play!" He bounced a bit more, picking up the branch, dragging it over to Nick, and dropping it, before distancing himself a bit, and looking fixated, bouncing on his front legs.

Nick really wasn't sure how to approach the situation. Didn't dogs play with their food before killing it? Or was that cats? Shit, why did trivial knowledge always escape him when it was actually important?

Still, he wearily picked up the stick, all the while keeping an eye on Loke. It wasn't exactly like he could do anything if the wolf decided to attack. At least he had a stick now to defend himself. But after watching the excited animal jump around for a few more seconds he finally threw the stick for Loke to chase.

"Uh...go get it?" he told Loke, but didn't sound very enthusiastic.

Loke however, exploded when Nick threw the stick, chasing after it like mad, jumping and trying to catch it mid-air. Of course, he was close to blind and had the hand to eye coordination as a one eyed gold fish. So the stick smacked him in the face, and they both tumbled into the snow.

After digging frantically around, he finally found it, took it into his mouth, and bolted back full speed. He barley managed to stop, just a few inches away from running Nick over. He dropped the stick, and backed away, tail wagging so hard it hit his own face.

Nick watched, with some amusement, as the wolf chased the stick excitedly and fell in the snow. He wanted to laugh, but his nerves wouldn't let him.

When Loke brought the stick back, Nick picked it up again. "Uh, this is going to sound crazy, but, uh...did you talk, Dog?" he quickly glanced around, to make sure no one was around besides the wolf.

"Of course I did! But I am not a dog. I am a wolf. Play? " He wagged his tail, panting a bit, jumping a bit around. "Play please!"

"So, you can talk?" Nick nodded a little, almost answering his own question. He wasn't exactly surprised, being that there were killer unicorns running around, and his girlfriend's ex was from outer space, but still...

It took him a moment to remember to throw the stick. "Oh, uh, sorry!" he threw the stick as far as he could, and then gave a strange look. Did I just apologize to a talking dog?

"Yup! was all he had time to say, before he spun on his paws,a nd chased the stick so fast the show shood like a shower behind him. He slid a few meters on, due to his speed, after having caught the stick, and stumbled somewhat, but did not fall, and bolted towards Nick.

This time, however, Loke was not able to stop. He came in full speed, and only a 10 feet from Nick he began breaking, and he slid, knocking into Nick full force of 260 pounds of wolf, making him yelp at the impact that probably were way worse for Nick.

Nick didn't have much of a chance to get out of the way when Loke came bounding toward him without stopping. He managed to turn away from the giant wolf just as it slammed into hi, and he landed in a heap in the snow, just missing the stone wall of the castle.

He laid there, motionless, not sure if he even wanted to start testing his limbs to see if they were broken. Maybe it would be better to just stay buried partially in the snow, let hypothermia take its course.

Finally, he let out a low groan as he slowly started to push himself onto his hands. "Fuck..."

Loke got to his feet, whining softly, hurrying over to Nick. he had done the same to Chris, and he was ashamed.

He hurriedly licked the others face, lying down in the snow, tucking his tail between his legs and submitting. "I am sorry I am sorry I am sorry" He averted his eyes in insecurity.

Nick struggled to his knees, and turned his head away from the over amorous wolf. "Okay, okay, okay! Stop!" he said, trying to push Loke away so he had room to get up.

"I don't think anything's broken. Fuck, what the fuck did you do that for?!" he raised his voice, before realizing he didn't really expect an answer.

Loke flinched, pressing himself to the ground, beginning to tremble. He closed his eyes, waiting to be attacked, chased or bitten. "P,ease dont hurt me..." His voice was frail despite his size,a nd the whole wolf began trembling like a leaf in the win. "Loke am sorry, Loke did nor mean to. Loke only wanted to play, not wanting to hurt." He whined loudly, like a kicked puppy.

He pulled himself up to sit in the snow, giving Loke an incredulous look when it didn't hurt so bad to open his eyes. "I'm not going to hurt you," he said, obviously not in the mood to be comforting someone else. "Just..don't do it again. You nearly killed me!"
