I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE ENDING. i was telling marsh that i feel like it just should have ended with the sleepover. After that point, I kind of felt like it was dragging on. and omg the "boops." i loved it. michael cera's face in that whole scene had me laughing so hard and of course i was the only one. i was the only one laughing at a lot of parts tbh, even the opening credits with the dancing.
michael cera needs to dump that sloppy azn girl and get with us. JUST SAYIN.
btw did you see the ten yet? if you go to my lj you will see my thoughts without spoiling anything :/
omg and ia about jonah. on talk shows, i always really like him and everything, but his character in the movie reminded me too much of some of my friends that can rly push my buttons.
OMG YES! I said the same thing. It was the same way I felt about Knocked Up. It was about 20 minutes too long.
And I know what you're saying about being the only one laughing. Most of the time I was just laugh hysterically at Evan's face or the way he looked at something. I loved him for being so subtle and dry in a genre that's not really known for that. MC DEFINITELY NEEDS TO GET WIT US!
I haven't seen the Ten, but I wanted to! I read your post(I was too busy to comment, sry bb :(....) about being disappointed. Now I'm not so sure it's worth the time. I've heard other people saying that too, which just makes me sad. The previews made it look SO funny. Liev Schreiber hitting his wife and saying "Oh honey, I didn't see you there." and Paul Rudd saying the names all funny killed me. "PAAAH RAAAAH!" Idk, I'll probably still go see it because it was put out by my favorite boyses.
i didn't really feel it dragged on too much (less than knocked up) but ia the sleepover would've been a nicer ending. i think i had a pretty good theater there seemed to be lots of laughing even though there weren't many of us. the 80 dollar bill just confused me for a second lol.
jonah seems to practically play himself. hes fucking hilarious on talk shows. idk how to feel about that. & i'm not too sure michael cera will ever spread his wings. typecasting, merh. :-/
oh, and i think seth & evan wrote it about themselves pretty much so thats why its there real names if ya didn't know. AND THE "BOOP" WAS JUST SOMETHING JONAH DECIDED TO DO ON A WHIM ahahah.
