This was getting to be old hat. It was too familiar and Daniel didn't like that these sorts of meetings were growing to be too familiar. "For everyone who's wondering why I gathered everyone here, I'm going to make it brief: Jack Sparrow escaped with Dr. Wilson.
"And yes, we can talk about just letting Wilson go, because DHARMA knows everything about us, but it's not Wilson I'm concerned about. I'm concerned about what might happen if DHARMA gets their hands on Sparrow and sends him back or lets him loose. I don't think I need to remind anyone of what was done with Boone.
"Additionally, I'm hopeful that maybe this might give us the opportunity to get the upper hand," Daniel continued. "There's only one place for Wilson to run and that's to his home base. This could be our big chance."
He was happy to note that Alex had slipped into the room unnoticed and seemed to be happily translating for Kenzaki. The girl was like a ghost, she knew when to disappear and when to appear. Right now, he was glad she chose to appear; he might even have a question or two for her in a bit.
