God has knocked me on the head with some things in the last couple of days...they've just fallen right down from heaven and popped me one on the head. The main thing that I got popped with though was today on my way walking out of work. Hmmm. I saw this out of the corner of my eye before going to the Bible study tonight, and the whole evening was looking forward to getting back home and being able to read it. Glad to finally have the chance!!

Let me tell you, that Monday was incredible. I stayed home all day and ended up reading my Bible and doing word studies for 4-5 hours in the after noon. Then I played with my cat and played the piano for a while. Eventually, I ended up reading my Bible again, Romans, kind of following up on some things that Michael and Ginny W. and I have been talking about. What a beautiful, beautiful time it was. I have never before seen God through the book of Romans like I did that evening. I despaired, rejoiced, and cried ... what a beautiful time.

And I share that with you just to illustrate something I've learned through the Word -- when God came before Elijah who was hiding in a cave, He made Himself manifest in a "still, small voice." In the Psalms, it says, "Be still and know that I am God," along with a lot of other good ( ... )
