September progress
As I promised, here is my September's progress. Not completely satisficed (thought I would do faster), but I did at least a little bit on each of my 4 current projects.

It's been ages since I last posted here. I'm just getting back into posting more often at LJ in general. Here are my last two finishes. Both are HAED (Heaven and Earth Designs) patterns in the smaller, round format called Ornaments. The gypsy and fox is called Wanderlust, and was a Christmas gift to my daughter. I've been a silent reader (and admirer) for some time, but decided to show some of my projects here. Actually, I'm planning to post each month showing the progress on those projects. Maybe it would help to revive the community - I really miss all the beautiful things I used to see here.

Cross stitch dump!
So... trying very hard not to stitch today so as not to (further) irritate some inflammation in my shoulder. I spent the morning at the framers getting a few pieces "turned in," and most of the afternoon so far designing a new (easy) piece for a coworker's going away present ( Read more... ) -
Funny bargains with my hubby...
Not too long ago my husband & I struck a deal. I will get to purchase a cross stitch pattern/kit for every fountain pen he buys, even if the pen is for me. LOL! AND...for every two projects I finish, I get to buy a new one. For the record! This was NOT HIS IDEA. This was mine. I needed a way to manage and/or curtail my stash building.
